Echoes of Our Love

"Whispers of Lost Moments and Unseen Tomorrows"

In the silence of the night, where shadows play,

I wander through memories, lost in dismay.

The echoes of laughter that once filled this room,

Now hollow and haunting, a prelude to gloom.

Your smile, a sunbeam on my darkest days,

Now, it fades to a whisper, amidst smoky haze.

Once hand in hand, we danced under the stars,

Now I grasp at the air, feeling your scars.

Each moment a dagger, piercing my soul,

You left with a part of me, leaving me whole.

The pictures we painted, vibrant and bright,

Have turned into gray, shunning all light.

I clutch at my heart, where love used to bloom,

Now it's withering softly, engulfed by the gloom.

Promises made, like the leaves in the fall,

Swirling in silence, they’ve vanished, like all.

Time moves on, but I’m frozen in place,

Chasing your ghost, searching for grace.

Your name, a soft echo, whispers through trees,

It stirs in the night, carried by the breeze.

How do I breathe, when your absence consumes me?

The walls of this house echo back to empty rooms.

I sit at the edge of our once-shared bed,

Replacing the words that were left unsaid.

I once was a traveler, lost in your eyes,

Now I’m a seeker, beneath endless skies.

With each hopeful dawn, I search for a sign,

Hoping that somehow, you’ll still be mine.

Yet love, like a river, must flow and divide,

And I must learn to swim, to cast aside pride.

Even though I am heartbroken and aching inside,

I know there’s a chapter where heartaches reside.

So here’s to the memories, both bitter and sweet,

To the laughter we shared, and the moments we’d meet.

Though you’re far gone, in this vast tapestry,

Your spirit will linger; you’re still a part of me.
