In the skies of dusk where eagles glide,

The bitter chorus of war abides.

Underneath fear's weight, we tread,

In nations' waltz, blood's tears are shed.

Hands poised on buttons, hearts racing,

World's destiny on brink, embracing.

Nuclear whispers, silent screams,

In mushroom clouds, doomsday dreams.

Laughter of children, silenced now,

In cities' ruins, heads do bow.

Folly of men, etched in flame,

In ashes, we cry out our shame.

But in the quiet, whispers rise,

A longing for peace, where hatred dies.

In human hearts, a spark does shine,

Hope for a world where love's design.
