Echoes in Rain

A journey through forgotten whispers, drifting reflections, and the quiet mysteries woven into each drop.

By Nitoka ChishiPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read
"Each raindrop writes a verse on unseen pages, telling stories just out of reach."

Rain whispers phrases that time forgot,

spills silver currents where stone skin holds,

etches rivers as ghosts drift through them,

whispered secrets, soft and sown

A song, free staccato, beats out

each an unkept vow.

Each drop gathers puddles where reflections twist,

facing faces not here, not now

Some find in the rain the ink on a frail page,

as each drop writes another verse down on streetless names;

others watch the bruise fade.

Like old wounds of soft, lost battles.

Under gray skies, the world breathes deep,

puts on a dreamscape of sky and clay,

and for those who listen, speak of things

but forever just a whisper away.
