Easier
We are so quick to grow up... but is it really worth it?
I remember when things were easy.
I remember when the weight of the world never held me.
But I'm older now.
And I was younger then.
So I take a minute to think of what I've done and the places I've been.
Am I happy with who I am today.
No, I probably never will be.
But my life is not what matters.
What matters to me is everyone I've met along the way.
Long as they know today.
That I care about them either way.
So when the sun sets and the moon is on the rise, know that even when I'm gone I'm by your side.
