First Sight

In the quiet of morn, as the world lies still

A glimpse of light, the dawn's gentle thrill,

Through the window, it peeks, a golden embrace,

A soft-spoken kiss on the night's weary face.

This whispered cuddle, a love so divine,

A silent ballet, as shadows entwine,

It moves with grace, a celestial sight,

As day breaks the hold of the velvety night.

A moment suspended, a breath held in time,

The light slowly grows, a warm golden climb,

The world stirs and wakes, as dreams fade away,

And hope blooms anew with the birth of the day.

Before the alarm, this gift we receive,

A pause to reflect, a chance to believe,

In the beauty of dawn, as it paints the skies,

An optical beckon, through dewey eyes.
