My fourth and final submission for the Quadru-Haiku challenge. This one contains four haiku's, one for each element. Check my profile for more.
Earth
Rubble, rocks and stone,
Form together, creating
Beautiful landscapes.
Water
Rushing and flowing,
Through the streams and creeks, into,
The seas and beyond.
Air
The wind, so subtle,
Rustling through the leaves of trees,
Calm serenity.
Fire
A flame burning bright,
Bigger and bigger it grows,
A blaze it becomes.

I currently work as a thatcher, but love the art of writing a narrative, currently I am working on putting my ideas onto paper and creating a book. In the meantime I create short stories to keep myself, girlfriend and two dogs entertained.

Remembering the rink
If you were there, you’ll never forget it. For decades, Durham Ice Rink was at the heart of the city’s social life. From Friday night ice discos to crowds roaring on the Wasps every Sunday, not to mention a proud history of figure skating and speed skating, the riverside rink was the place to be.
