Drowning

Lay to rest

As she’s gliding down, into the dark deep ocean

With such sadness in her eyes as she weeps

Tears of sweet sorrow

in her face

As her body starts to rest

she goes further down to the bottom of the ocean

She takes one last breath

As her

body lays to rest

As for now she has

Gone

About the Creator

Jennifer lindquist

I’ve always had a interest in poetry since I took a creative writing class in high school. Writing poetry is my safe place where I can either get positive or sometimes negative energy out by my writing of poetry.
