Embraced in a feeling so deep with pain,

It had become too dark to see the light.

Scars and bruises left an internal stain,

A plan to end it and give up the fight.

Angels and demons invaded your dreams,

At the edge of the cliff, you prayed for wings.

Trapped under shadows, you break at the seams,

Peer down to the ocean, harmony sings.

You can take that leap, but you can’t turn back,

Can you feel doubt now that the end was near?

No chance to heal, for a future you lack.

The only prevention was in your fear.

At times you will feel that you do lose hope,

But time will ensure that you can still cope.
