I fell in love with you the moment you kissed me on my couch,

Got lost in the depths of you and the taste of your mouth.

These days I don't think you could call me a believer,

Cause you've only loved the girl you saw in your own mirror.

Somewhere in these rain drops

is where my dreaming stopped.

There's no castle in the clouds.

The hopeful romantic has drowned.

You flicked me off of you,

like ashes from the end of your cigarette,

Guess you forgot there were mornings we shared more than orange juice,

or is that also something you regret?

These days I don't think you could say that I'm young.

I've learned feeling old starts when you stop believing in love.

Somewhere in these rain drops

is where my dreaming stopped.

There's no castle in the clouds.

The hopeful romantic has drowned.

I might break down, just like my worn out car,

But I truly hope you find what you're looking for out there where you are,

and if you ever want to dream again with me,

Save us both the time, and my sanity,

and just... leave.

Somewhere in these rain drops

is where my dreaming stopped.

There's no castle in the clouds.

The hopeful romantic has drowned.
