Do you care about the poor? What mainly

Draws you to the downtrodden and makes you

Want to care for them? To state it plainly,

Why do you even care? What can they do?

The true statement is, ‘where are the makers’?

Where are the productive poor trying to

Make a way for themselves? Who are shakers

And movers just among the very few.

The poor ought to be looked at as the rest.

If they’re ambitious, driven and greedy

They should be included among the best.

They should not be perceived as the needy.

Poor is a relative term, anyway.

The lowest rungs should be in place all day.
