Drip Drip

A Visual and (Triggering) Poem of One's End

By Autumn CavePublished 9 years ago • 1 min read

One, two, three

drip drip

on the walls

on the tub

of life

Sitting there

she goes

making sounds

making pleas

to the cruel, cruel world

Stop, stop she says

I've had enough

I'm tired now

and I want to

s l e e p

let me sleep

let me go

far away until

I'm done

making sounds

making pleas

One, two, three

drip drip

on the tub

on the floor

blood going down her face

she's finally free

she's finally free

there she goes

at peace at last

goodbye.
