Taxis brush the roads; outcasts on heat

Tryin' for that last admission to Condemnation

Singular alcoholic staggers from another bar

Consuming his inconsequential time on earth in the organization of outsiders.

Battles with little change at the cost of a lager

Furthermore, the last butt from a pack of luckies

Dreamin' of a superior life through a few server's eyes

One more evening of cellulite thighs and coarse dyed hair.

While down at the Blue Mambo life's a beverage

So set them up this one's on me, he murmurs to a vacant bar

The barkeep looks exhausted cleaning a similar glass

Life's a container when you're drownin' so much

Normal, worn-out bologna is simply an alternate digging tool accordingly.

The early morning papers are out on the stands

Paper young men congregating to yell out the title texts once more

One more day, another quarter and it's we're off to go

While an alcoholic staggers from one bar to another

Abjectly

In this new guaranteed land.

The early first light snaps open like a diamante catch

Across the roof of the world

Leaving alcoholics requesting another day's packaged love

In a whirlwind of drenched developments

Like apparitions beyond a doubt leaving another gloomy Saturday night.
