Drifting Away To The Sublime

a poem by Solomon

By Solomon WalkerPublished 12 days ago 1 min read

Beneath a moon-kissed sky, where stars did gleam,

A moment bloomed, a fleeting, mystic dream.

A glimmering jewel, a spark of pure delight,

Illuminated shadows, banished the night.

In myriad guises, the enchantment came,

A smile's gentle curve, a laughter's silver flame.

A tender embrace, a whispered word so kind,

A gesture of love, an echo of the mind.

Uplifted on wings of joy, I soared so high,

As if caressing clouds, embraced the vast blue sky.

My heart, a vessel filled with radiant cheer,

Prompted me onward, dispelling every fear.

To scatter this enchantment, like seeds sown in spring,

To share its magic with all, a wondrous thing.

To witness hearts unfold, like blossoms in the morn,

Spreading love's embrace, as vibrant colors adorn.

The zenith of my days, not in worldly possession,

But in the hearts entwined, a sacred, deep connection.

The love we share, a bond that will never cease,

A symphony of souls, a moment of sweet release.
