In slumber’s embrace, we rest, unaware,
As rivers flow, in life’s rhythmic sway.
Awakening to nature’s grand affair,
We witness the rituals of give and take.
+
Before our eyes, the world unfolds,
A river’s run, a mercy we receive.
From depths of dreams, both light and bold,
Embracing the currents, we lie and believe.
+
Around the bend, cascades await,
Cunning rapids guard nature’s gate.
A waterfall’s descent, a thrilling fate,
As we journey through, our fears abate.
+
Petrified, we reach the crux of the climb,
Renewing springs and banks serene.
Melodies of birds, a sweet chime,
Echoing their songs, the air pristine.
+
Landing gently in canals, rivers continue to run,
Breaths intertwine, from water and sun.
Waking to saddle canoes and face the day,
And ride the flumes of another dreamscape.

I like the rhyming pattern you've picked for this one. It's definitely got a sort of dream-like quality 😁
