Dreams

Try asking for the answer to a question before you go to sleep….

Dreams speak to us

They do?

I wonder what the hell they are trying to say?

This week I have believed

As if real

Some absolute crackers

Last night in my kitchen

A tiny lion sat

With spots not stripes

Why would it have either

And why was it mine?

In my Sunday sleep

A colleague I thought cared

Questioned whether or not I was a decent person

And discussed it widely too

I had the feeling ( a feeling that was all too real…)

the answer was no

Really? I try my hardest to be an upright human

Do I, deep down, not believe I am?

I want my dreams to tell me something useful

Where’s that thing I lost?

Is the misunderstanding finally sorted?

Will I get enough work this week?

Something that does not leave me

Feeling chilled and not in the relaxed sense

When I wake

Dreams

Are you speaking to me?

If you are

Please let me rest

And grasp your true meaning

When I open my eyes
