Dreams are dreams, always realize
Try to accomplish and materialize
Even in dreams, keep your vision high
If you fall! You will fall into the sky
No dream poor! no dream low!
These are seeds which we plough
Dreams we see! decide our fate
Success! we achieve even its rate
Dreams come when sleep is deep
So shall we sow! so shall we reap
Let’s dreams come with open eyes
These dreams certainly make us rise
Dreams may come at any time
But dreams should make us rise
Dreams may create fear and fright
But never deviate and be upright
Dreams are melodious and very sweet
These make us pious and very neat

The Tome
I wrote this story as part of my ko-fi based writing group's prompt for April 2024. It's inspired by a D&D party of mine, with Skylar being my own character from that game. Prompt: Everyone else is positive that the dusty, ancient tome you found on your last expedition is a long-lost spellbook, with the grimoire containing magics long thought lost to this world. You, however, are pretty sure it's just a cookbook. I also used this prompt as the basis for my Storytelling Collective Comics Challenge this year, so I'll share the comic at the end of this.

Indeed, dreams are rooted in deep places and integral to the human condition. You have lines that were running like couplets, or two line stanzas. I would consider editing this one to find more ideas how to write it more concretely. You have a feel for what to do with words I can tell. The goal and outwardly principle in poetry is to "Show, don't tell." Keep writing. I'll be looking out for your posts. :)
