Life's absurdities can make us all smile

Like the irony of driving for miles

To get to the gym, to work out and sweat

Only to find it's closed, and you'll have to forget

It's odd, it's funny, it's life's wacky style

You make a to-do list, with plans for the day

But end up watching cat videos, and wasting away

You try to save money, and skip the coffee shop

But end up overspending, and feel like a flop
