A Picture of Summer at an Estuary
Amazing how the sun came down
Blatantly warming every boat around
Calmly chasing that warm summer breeze
Dancing by the river trees
Every bird humming sweet little tunes
Far and wide with a sky bright blue
Greater days are a thing of legend
Holy rays shine from heaven
If only it could stay this way
Joyful being every day
Kites are flown out in a field
Lump charcoal cooking hot dogs on a grill
Mr weather man said it would rain today
No clouds nor rain could wash this feeling away
Orange juice and lemonade packed for a picnic
Park bench lunch with friends and relatives
Quintessential Atmosphere of a day by the water
Relaxing river flow at it’s very center
Swaying trees with green summer leaves
Tranquil beasts laying by the sea
Unspeakable joy the summer can bring
Vibrantly brightening everything
Waves that stretch on the golden shore
X-ed out tick tack toe squares drawn like the year before
Yellow straws in clean glass cups
Zenith is a summer day by the water front

Death of a Salesman by Arthur Miller
Perhaps one of the best known modern plays in all of 20th century theatre, ‘Death of a Salesman’ is a 1949 play written by Arthur Miller. Set in Brooklyn, it takes place over two acts and portrays the tragedy of the Loman household - specifically that of protagonist Willy Loman. It deals with the crushing of the American Dream and forces the audience to confront the harsh truth about what America has become. It ended up winning the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play and as it is revived many times we in literature and drama hope it can continue its influence for years to come.
