I have done more good
And more bad in one lifetime
Than most of humanity
Could ever conceptualize
I have told so many lies
That veracity is un-achievable
So many truths
That deception lost its power
I have swayed more people than I’ve met
Dismayed in rumor those I will never meet
I have saved lives
And I have ended them
Those who try to understand me
Go mad
Because even if I were to meticulously explain
I have no basis of understanding
“Why?” Has no meaning
If there isn’t an answer to find
Stop holds no sway
If there was never a start
If you understand
Then I’ve no reason to explain
If you don’t
I couldn’t if I tried

That essential, sparkling you that you only reveal to a select few. Had I been paying more attention to the stories you are so fond of telling, in which you are invariably author, narrator and protagonist, I would not have been so foolish as to set you up on a blind date. After all, no friend has ever done anything of the kind for another. That’s preposterous. What is a friend, really?
