Dormant Skies

Pen to paper,

Paper to thought.

Is anyone listening?

To my inner - contort?

Can you hear the wind,

Whistling inside my head.

Feel all my emotions,

Flowing up and out of me.

My voice carrying out

to this empty sky.

If only I could see,

All the unspoken wishes.

That lay dormant in the Sky.

If I said mine aloud. Would it come true?

If I spoke loud enough,

Over this wind.

Would it fall from the sky.

...

Breath of Life

The night before she died,

She smiled so spectacularly.

I could've sworn,

She knew the meaning of life.
