Welcome!

See my clever message

Knock loud y'all,

but not like

you're the police,

Walk right on in,

right over me,

be sure to scrub

your feet

with the best of me.

I'm only here to

greet you

then be used

to clean the dirt off you

so you look good

for the in crowd

while I'm stuck outside

worn and faded

I became jaded

until they put me in the trash.

I wouldn't play into the

scrubbing and scrapping anymore.

Hit 40 and learned NO

so fast

it gave them all whiplash

Now i'm staying in

and there is no soliciting

Why would someone put the

throw pillow that I am

in front of a door anyway?

I'm fancy and fun,

We can cuddle for a movie

whereas doormats wear all the mud
