As I'm getting used to being home alone for three days a week, I'm also remembering the joy of cranking the music up while working.

And since I still need a little cheering, there's been a lot of carnival music on today. Dutch carnival performers tend to put on a silly persona and sing about parties, drinking, and getting physical (wink wink).

So, here's a prime example of a microbiologist pretending to care only about booze and singing about losing a friend inside a crowded party.

He has a lot more cool songs, but this was the one he became famous (around here, during carnival) with.

I hope you enjoy!
