Don't say uff

My body folds

By Kisama Riyo Published 2 years ago • 1 min read

One day I carried my dream in my hands

In my sleep and walked with it in my illusion

Searching for a strength that had vanished long ago

But I did not search for it in the folds of my body

So I beg you, my Lord, to have mercy on the weakness that invaded my eyelids

And settled in the back of my head, stealing my sleep

And in the midst of peace was my dream, so it became a chord in my melody

And do not leave me in my despair, lest my star be lost

If sadness rises up against me, will it make me cry with my tears?

And if it leaves me, will my dream settle in my hands?

And began to pounce like a beast on my regret

And thus my pain was set free and began to roam freely in my body

So I cried from the tears of the rain and your injustice, my cloud, saddened me

Because you forgot a wound that was nothing to me but an imaginary darkness

Suddenly, my daily wound, settled in my being and became a dark longing

For nostalgia ignited a volcano fire inside me with my lava

It is too late to save you, my flesh

Because the fire ran through my body and scattered my rhythm

So it became impossible for me to return to my sleep

O dream that melted in my chest

Rest assured, the hour of relief is near, so climb my ladder

And take from it a star whose light used to remove my worries

And do not say ah, lest what is in my chest of regret overtakes you?
