Don't Let Me Forget

I miss you.

By Sarah ElisabethPublished 8 years ago • 1 min read

Certain things about a person you adore are incredibly hard to forget.

We don’t hold hands anymore, but I remember what it felt like.

How our hands fit together ever so perfectly,

Like they were made for each other. They fit so damn perfectly.

The smell of the cologne you wear is so strong in my memory,

I can almost smell it if I try hard enough.

The way your eyes glowed when they looked into mine.

I will never forget those eyes, those beautiful eyes.

I will forever remember the moment we first kissed,

Stumbling into three hugs before we finally stumbled into lips.

The sound of your voice is like dripping honey,

Always gentle, always sweet, like music to my ears.

I think of you so constantly, I feel I will never forget these details,

If by chance I ever let them slip my mind, will you come back and help me remember?
