Don't Know

I don't know.

You don’t know

You don’t know

You DON’T know!

You don’t know what it’s like to be in this position

To know what’s right and what feels good

You don’t know what it’s like to be taken by a man twice your age

And told it is okay

You don’t know what its like to deal with the constant fear of screwing everything up

You don’t know

You don’t know

YOU DON’T KNOW

Small needles poke me

Tethers pull me in each direction

People ask too much and too little

They don’t know

They don’t know

They DON’T know

So I paste on the smile

Do you know how I got these scars?

I don’t know

I don’t know

I DON'T KNOW
