don't have words
weird for a writer
it's my currency
how do I distill
aching anger
piercing pain
silent sadness
black bleakness
*
wishing for something
positive
hoping for something
upbeat
but life
its fickleness
disease, suffering
always, anything
pushes me down
*
the words I have
full of venom and rage
at everything
and nothing
won't change
the inevitable
*
happiness will return
sure it will
fun and joy too
but now
sadness reigns
for now
our world is dark
*
