Don't get upset mummy

just you and I

By Victoria Barraclough Published 4 years ago 1 min read

Don't get upset mummy

when my toys are all over the floor,

don't get upset mummy

when i put my dirty hands on every door,

don't get upset mummy

when I lose my sock for the millionth time,

don't get upset mummy

when the kitchen tiles don't shine,

don't get upset mummy -

you'll soon have all the time in the world.

don't get upset mummy

I won't be a child for long,

so let's dance in the puddles for a while

and do things that make us smile,

hold my hand, teach me to sing,

cos right now it's just you and I against everything.
