I wonder,

Will the heavens ever stop crying?

It feels like rain,

So heavy, that these teardrops look like pain,

Painful tears from you, dear Dad;

Teardrops from heaven because you miss your family.

It's been raining since the day you spread your wings, and took

your place with the angels,

I feel your pain too dear Dad,

Though I still take comfort in your spirit,

Knowing that you are still here to annoy me!

Dear Dad;

You are still my hero, my guiding light, and everything that

motivates me in this life,

You might not be my biological Dad, but you may as well have

been;

You never gave up on me, even when times were hard,

You were always behind me, pushing me to be the best

I could be,

You were and still are the best Dad I could have ever known.

Please don't cry,

I miss you, my dear Dad;

I have heard of lots of people who can't see a step-parent as a dad to them,

But you have earned it,

You worked hard for it,

And you were the Dad who brought me up with my mum,

No matter how tough it was.

It's not rain that hits the road on which I walk,

These are teardrops from heaven;

Please dry your tears,

I know you are still there, watching me every single day;

Please don't cry, I miss you,

And I still love you.
