Don’t Choose Me

If you ever have to make the choice of me and another

Save yourself the trouble, choose them!

I’m not a back up plan waiting patiently to be picked

If it was for me... or for you,

there wouldn’t be any choice to make

My life can’t wait on hold while you

Figure out if maybe, possibly “I am the one” lol

that title waits for none, why?

Because you know instantly and

Act accordingly to make it a reality

Anything outside of that is a dream

A fairytale with a never ending story

So, in not being able to choose

You made your choice! And so did I

Meaningless words if without action

If right now isn’t good for us then

A lifetime wouldn’t happen, why?

Simple my life will not pause so that

you can decide if it’s real and search

within another to see if maybe its better

If you know then you know and

If you have doubts well, then

Maybe the search continues but

it stops at the hands of me waiting

For you to come around.... Nahhh

I can’t do it, I might stumble upon the one

who WILL know and I will know

And well you know how that goes

So dont choose me if you need to

figure out your list

I’ll keep myself on reserve for the one that

KNOWS I am the woman of his wishes!
