The colours align but never cross
the fringes flow and shade and gloss
never mocking never knocking
Knowing they are diverse and strong
the pallet knife is never wrong
supporting each, Supporting all
each knows its value, knows its worth
never questioning it’s place from birth
standing proud not needing loud
every colour plays its part
a piece of universal art
every colour shines so bright
not one colour stands apart
only man thinks he’s so smart
Ego driving from the start
where did we learn to hate
not within the children’s gait
fear and pain have fed us bait
A lesson we’d do well to learn
if we could not choose to burn
when will we learn When Will We Learn...
