Here we are at the corner of

Fuck my life and Maybe it'll be okay!

My heart is broken.

My head is full of shattered glass

Your words continue to stick like glue

Filling my lungs with acrid smoke

my stomach and my body are in knots.

I feel like I'm going to be sick again.

The pain you put me through

Is worst than the trauma of the last several years.

You were the perfect knight in shining armor

The beautiful person who healed my shattered soul

But I was wrong

You filled the cracks with molded cement

That blackened over time

Breaking me down a piece at a time

You masked your true self with your charming ways

I'm so tired of feeling like I'm dying inside

Called me crazy, worthless, a whore, and a piece of shit

Said I'd never amount to anything

Words may not be the knife to the gut

But they sting and sit all the same.

For a while, I loved you

I kissed your lips and felt the zing of your love

But everytime you said that I wasn't enough

Everytime we spiraled

We tried to survive

My thoughts became my prison

Now I hate what I see

I hate who I am because of you.

Now the war begins again in my head,

I'll have to fight of the 'not enough' demons

Until I rule over them again.
