I cannot say I woke
For I never went to sleep
And now I sit
A five pawed cat
An apple seed in a carburetor
A wedding gown at noon
Craving like the captain on the bridge
To man the pumps
of syrup
For the pancake of my brain
To sell the labor of the hours
And let this servile body
