Does Your Spirit Melt As It Should?
If it doesn’t melt inside, it won’t mold you.
The window squeaked open
The air leaping with the drippings
A candle reminded me of the sorrows
Saying farewell to all the lost days
and fortunate new
I ran, skipping the pebbles to the river
I sat down with a handful of water
Wanting to drink it, swallow it
Not letting it blunder of my hand,
Saluting it to let all the sadness melt away
I swung the air with pleasure
I see a boat nearby of a titanic
I sat on it; we chatted for hours
Until wood glazed with the dusk
And the sun shadowed me goodbye
I hooked my slippery hands twixed
Cuddling with the pearls of water
The veins vibrating in front of me
Melting away all the shadows of gloom
Finding solitude in each other all along
Final Thoughts:
The above collections are a mix of poetry and short forms for its seekers. You can check all the other works of writers mentioned above.
“Poetry is when an emotion has found its thought, and thought has found its words.”
I’ll say this; never end your quest for writing and finding poetry to cherish your heart. If poetry does the trick of making you feel calm — you're indeed chosen.
