Do You Dream in Colour?

What colour do you feel?

Do you dream in colour?

As the song once said

And I do

But during my waking hours

I choose my colours to match my mood

I think I’m red at heart,

Quick to anger, full of a particular energy

But I’m green too .. easygoing, friendly

I’m not often blue anymore

I’m too old for that stuff, assuming that is that blue is sad cold reserved.

I was never reserved.

I wonder what the colour of old is?

Does not matter... I don’t identify with that.

I’m purple too, I’m being purple right now

I love words I don’t twist them, though people think I do

I always try to get right to the point but if I’m purple

And you are a sort of maroon colour

We are not going to understand each other right away

Our colours change all the time and sometimes it’s a match

Or perhaps a perfect blend

And if it’s not

We can try to be kind about that

All colours are beautiful

Even khaki

(Which is super efficient..)

Yes I dream in colour

And I’m awake in it too
