The winding, the binding, the blinding, the sounding of all Hell's pain all Hell's pain

All hell's pain as the life of strife is held down by a knife to the throat

To the throat from the wrist of the other to the throat as you stand powerless

Powerless to the evil intentions of the heart of the other as you stand

As you stand you as you stand in fear with a tear in your eyes

A tear in your eyes = you then remember you are not your disguise

You are not your disguise, you are not the way people talk to you

The way people talk to you when they miss the mark, eye contact and talk down to you

Talk down to you about everything and nothing of any real importance

Any real importance? more like speculative disinformation faked news

Faked news spread around by malicious bad actors and master manipulators.

Anything will happen to give reason to s

ound out loud your praises up up u p

Up and down, round and round, never stop, but if you saw me, I'd be sat still

Sat still while the merry-go-what-the-hell-around of my butchered brain and perforated psyche continues

Continues without let-up, except sleep, well, you'd think sleep would provide respite

Respite from the recurring nightmare that I've messed up again, messed up

Up and down, round and round, never stop, but if you saw me, I'd be sat still

Still s till s t ill repeating that line, because, it needs to be repeated

Repeated like the tyre-track ingrained neural pathways that have lead me to trouble

Trouble in the past, trouble in the present, but does it need to be trouble in the future

The future? if it's more of the same no thank you - if it's something new - well, I can but hope

Hope h ope h o pe

H o p e is all we sometimes have to cling to

To grasp at never let go

-

Let go

Let

Go

-

Of everything

-

Everything weighing you down

Down and out, out for the count

Count the things that truly matter

Matter to you

You and no one else

No one else will do it for you

-

Do it for you
