Dive Deep

I am always surprised

At how many people

Are afraid of the dark.

The cool black being of the mind

It exists in us all

But how often you run from it

From your own nature.

I have grown comforted by the opaque

The sleek smoothness

Like a black river letting me float on the surface until I am more comfortable

Diving deep.

So be not afraid

Of seeing who you are,

Seeing what you are--

An endless dark ocean

An infinite black galaxy

There is no end.
