Have you ever noticed that standards differ depending on your status and gender?

The higher your status, the less the law touches you.

We have the justice system in place; In this system, we have laws and take into account mental health, the circumstances of the crime, and the crime in question.

It's strange that some people, even when they give all the facts, the person in question lands a harsh consequence.

BUT

In the same situation, some get away with it.

Why is it that when someone who has a mental health crisis commits a crime, they must not have done it?

Even though they have admitted to the whole crime and the evidence shows they did, in fact, commit it.

What happens when a whole trial tears the world in half?
