She became what legends are made of.
The woman who can do it all.
She healed the wounded.
Fought unspeakable battles.
People spoke of her courage and bravery.
The woman who became invincible.
Divinely guided and spiritually protected.
Guarded by her thoughts.
With no words spoken.
She battened down the hatches while fighting hard to be herself.
In times like these ones,
All you can do is begin to pray.
That woman is a goddess to most.
Admired by many but loved by few.
There's a reason she became invincible.

If MC Escher created a parkrun, it might look a bit like Jubilee. Based in a compact – but surprisingly lovely – park in the small County Durham town of Spennymoor, it twists and turns its way up repeated hills. Although basic physics says it must come down again, somehow this route never feels like it gives runners a proper descent.
