I used to believe in kindness and sincerity, thinking that if I treated others well, they would reciprocate.

However, life taught me that people’s hearts can be complex — filled with deception, jealousy, and betrayal.

In the past, I was your devoted follower, doing everything to make you happy. I listened to your complaints, and even helped you with your duties just to spend more time with you. But to you, it all seemed childish and boring.

As time passed, I realized that despite facing difficulties alone, having someone who cares about you makes a world of difference. We all desire simple things — mutual support, understanding, and encouragement. I, too, longed for these things.

Yet, you never valued my efforts. I moved away from you, and now, you may remember that there was once a girl who cherished you as a treasure. But I changed — I became proud and determined. It’s not because of anything else but your original cruelty and lack of appreciation.

Life has a way of altering our perspectives. I admit that I changed unknowingly.

Dreams I held were overturned, and old perseverance was ruthlessly broken.

I used to think being nice to others guaranteed kindness in return, but reality showed me the complexity of human nature.

People are strange beings; they can endure great suffering alone but are moved to tears by the warmth of someone’s care. We don’t ask for much — just mutual support and understanding.

In this ever-complicated world, trust is a rarity, and sincerity is often overshadowed by deception and betrayal.

Despite it all, I refuse to lie to people, and though trust is rare, I still long for genuine connections.

I changed not because of a desire for something else, but due to the stark realization of your cruelty and lack of appreciation. Life’s lessons have reshaped me, and I’ve become someone who values authenticity and mutual understanding.

Thanks anyway! Because of you, I changed to be better!
