Diamond Mind

Thinking harder

I stand at the peak of a scintillating gem

Floating starkly in mid-heaven

A thin alternating channel

Laser cut, a central core

Spiraling around its brilliant conical expanse

Allowing light to dance and refract

Spectral splashes sputtering

I bask in the reinvigorating glow

A fountain of energy

Blooming from the track

Expressing energy tenderly

Like the petals of a

Shimmering desert rose

Rising up to caress and dance

Partnering me in the breeze of

A celestial spring

Feminine energy freely flows

From the deepest recesses of the scars

Carved in the pressure-formed shine

A radiant glitter that never dies

The winds of time could not weather

the lines in my carbon chain mind

Taking a soul-hardened drill

To scratch a polished diamond

Prong set and shining

Just don’t break my flow

I hold the weight of my world

You may be surprised to find

I shatter just like you
