Detective Brown, with her keen eye,
Was on the case, of finding a new monocle to buy,
Her old and worn one, with a crack,
She set out to find one, that wouldn't lack.
She browsed the stores, on the high street,
But all the monocles, she did meet,
Were too expensive, or not her style,
So she decided to go the extra mile.
She went to a small shop, down a lane,
And there she found, the monocle of her aim,
It was perfect, and just her size,
And at a price, that was quite wise.
She paid for it, with a smile,
And put it on, with a guile,
It was a great fit, and it shone,
She knew, that she had found her own.
The shopkeeper, with a grin,
Said, "It's been a pleasure, to do business with you, ma'am."
Detective Brown, now with her new monocle in hand, felt ready to take on any case that comes her way.
