Detective Brown's Bookish Break

O6

Detective Brown strolled through the library,

With a mind filled with curiosity,

She passed rows of books, old and new,

But her gaze was fixed on the crime fiction crew,

She scanned the shelves, with a keen eye,

Titles jumped out, and caught her eye,

"Murder on the Orient Express",

"The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes", no less,

She picked up "The Big Sleep", by Raymond Chandler,

Flipped through the pages, and gave a small wander,

"The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo", caught her attention,

She knew it would be a great addition,

As she stood there, in the dimly lit aisle,

She couldn't decide, which book to file,

But one thing she knew, as she walked away,

She'd come back tomorrow, to start her day.
