Destiny

Dream<—>Reality

By Celious BlancPublished 9 years ago 1 min read

Sometimes, dreams fuse with reality

Until all that can be deciphered

Are shattered edges of memories

Woven through lines

That draw circles around hands

Shaped like moons

Up in the stars

I can see a cloud breaking away

Its wispy, floaty matter slowly fading

Until it is no more

Nothing but a collected thought

Picked out only because

Against the darkness of the sky

It presented me with beauty

So fleeting, yet wholesome

Like life taken too soon

We foolishly assume

Nothing matters in the end

We fake and pretend

And fail to amend

The broken lenses

Which once only saw light

But are now shattered

From our plight.

About the Creator

Celious Blanc

a poet since birth

running in the wind

head in the stars

soul in my eyes

a contradiction of emotion

an abstract perception

an involuntary whisper

a shadow in the light.
