You push and pull just like your tides,
The very essence of your presence colliding with mine.
You drift on rough waters crashing over me, a stream of ease
Feeling the farthest from empty and closest to serenity.
And in my cup that overflows, into the river that shows -
Who you were and where you’ve been, it’s you that let me in.
It begins with my skin, initial touch. Something slight, not much. Yet no energy no force, could compare to the rush.
And wading through your rose waters what I found was, you. I could feel every color every hue, forest greens and the saddest blues.
All coexisting within you. The rarest yet rawest beauty pursued.
You made it here, and my have you grown,
For your eyes are the deepest oceans that I have ever known.
