Depression

A heavy weight upon my chest,

A fog that clouds my mind,

A feeling of hopelessness,

That's hard to leave behind.

The world seems black and gray,

No light to guide me through,

It's hard to face another day,

When sadness rings so true.

But in the darkness,

there is light,

A glimmer of hope to find,

A way to make the burden light,

And leave this pain behind.

So take my hand and walk with me,

Through the shadows and the rain,

Together we'll find a way to be,

And feel alive again.

Depression leads to sickness,

Sickness leads to death,

Together we'll find a way to be,

Happy again.
