in the silent moments of depression, the heart beats without a glitch,
the mind, entrenched with confusion quivers with every heartbeat.
imagination frantically searches in earnest for resolve,
searching for answers to inflate the depressed state of mind,
what avenue of escape exhilarates the weary, lifts the lowly, finds direction for the lost?
a path to joy is sought!
ending the hearts beat floods the mind’s escape, the coward’s release, thoughts of relief, little hope remains, the end endures.
then, courage surpasses cowardice, the heart beats on,
answers await in the soul, hope abounds in the search,
life is lifted in the thoughts,
the heart beats in victory!
