she wanted to stay but he pushed her away
and it’s finally time for her departure the last goodbye
she knows It’ll be fine deep down everyone knows that she tried to see the good in the bad
maybe one day she’ll wake up and regret that she gave up
but she doesn’t get enough credit as she saw that this was wrong
she had the courage to walk away which was so strong
one day he will call again
and she will be wondering if she should pick up or not but no one deserves endless chances to say they’ll change
