Democracy eclipsed
Witness the last rites in the final mockery.
By Roderick MakimPublished 4 months ago • 1 min read
Exaggerated elegy over the
Corpse of democracy, less a
Lament of the dead, laying there for all to see
Interred in public, than a
Paean, full of triumph in dubious honour of the ones who
Slaughtered her.
Even the days grow dark as we sit and witness this final humiliation.
