Delightful dream

Once I had a dream so wild and so great,

A dream that was filled with wonder and fate.

I dreamed that I flew through the air on a kite,

So high that the clouds seemed just out of sight.

I soared through the sky like a bird on the wing,

Dancing and twirling on the breeze that it brings.

The world below me was small and so neat,

As I flew through the air with such grace and such fleet.

I saw rainbow-colored elephants on the ground,

Playing with dolphins that swam all around.

There were unicorns prancing and rabbits in top hats,

And giant gummy bears that bounced on the mats.

But the best part of all, as the dream came to an end,

Was the giant cake that I found with a friend.

We ate and we laughed until the morning sun rose,

And then I awoke, still feeling so close

To the joy and the magic that filled up that night,

In my crazy, eccentric, and oh-so-delightful dream.
