People tell me that I should be stronger.
Because that is where the truth lies.
But I am honest no longer.
I admit, I have no alibis.
I'm just a delicate daisy in the storm.
Just allowing my petals to get torn.
My father said that I should be braver.
But I don't have the will to fight.
When I get close my courage wavers.
And I turn back away from the light.
I represent a delicate daisy in the snow.
One icy touch and I refuse to grow.
I might be soft and gentle.
But I can create a million smiles.
Although the dark clouds are plentiful.
My aroma can drift for miles.
I am a delicate daisy in the breeze.
I hide no falseness, no tricks up my sleeves.
